Nyira Events

About us

Every celebration tells a unique story

At Nyira Events we specialise in full-service event planning, creative design and flawless execution. Whether it is an intimate family gathering, a vibrant traditional ceremony or a high-profile corporate summit, our team handles every detail with creativity, cultural respect and technical precision — so you can enjoy your moment worry-free.

Our story

Built around the day itself

Nyira Events began with equipment and a simple observation: the difference between an event that runs and one that does not is rarely the décor. It is whether somebody is holding the schedule, whether the chairs arrived, and whether the person who promised the sound system is answering their phone.

So we built both halves. We own the stock we install, and we plan the events we furnish. That means one accountable team from the first conversation through to teardown, and no gap between the people who designed your setup and the people carrying it in.

Cultural expertise

Ugandan ceremonies, done properly

A ceremony has an order, a set of roles and a set of expectations. A planner who does not know them produces something that looks right in photographs and feels wrong on the day.

Kwanjula
The introduction, done to the order both families expect — including the pre-visit setups that come before it.
Kuhingira
Give-away ceremonies, with the staging, seating and décor the occasion carries.
White weddings
Church and reception, coordinated as one day rather than two events that happen to share a date.
Milestones
Birthdays, graduations, thanksgiving services, baby and bridal showers.
Corporate galas
Conferences, launches, award nights and end-of-year functions.

Why choose us

What you are actually buying

One team, accountable

The person who takes your brief is the person on site on the day. Nothing is handed to a subcontractor you have never spoken to.

Our own equipment

Tents, chairs, tables and décor are ours, checked in and out on every hire. What arrives at your event is not what came back damaged from the last one.

A vendor network that answers

Sound, catering, lighting and photography we have worked with before and will work with again — which is why they turn up.

Budgets held, not discovered

You get a written figure and we work to it. Changes are priced before they happen, not after.

Ready to talk it through?

Send us the date and the venue and we will tell you what is possible.
